This special-edition cardigan from Needles and Studious is knitted in a plush mohair blend in a light, airy natural ivory. The Needles papillon butterfly embroidery sits front and centre, which turns a soft knit into a statement piece. Ribbed trims, a button front and a slightly relaxed silhouette keep it wearable, and the pale colour lets the embroidery stand out clearly.
Fit
The shape is subtly relaxed rather than oversized, so it sits comfortably over a tee or shirt without swamping the frame. Japanese sizing runs about one size small compared with US sizing, so most people size up one for a relaxed fit, especially when layering over a shirt. Stocked in S, M and L.

Care
Mohair knits are best washed by hand in cool water, or on a wool cycle, turned inside out. Dry flat rather than hanging to keep the shape, skip the tumble dryer, and if needed, use a cool iron or steam away from the embroidery.
